Hi everyone! I hope Christmas has been good at your end, I have been drinking, eating, burping and sleeping (on repeat) lol. Its that time of the year again- SALES!! Yah!!!! For some of us this time of the year can bring a mixture of emotions either exciting and overwhelming but confusing at times. I am not sure if you still remember, but once I said that when it comes to sales I would rather make smart investments which means, instead of running to visit the hight street stores first, I prefer to visit my favorite high end brands instead, Why? Because the biggest markdowns quite often apply to high end brands, which means you may find yourself paying as much as you would normally spend on a mid-range piece at full price, but it will be from a brand you love and turn into an item you will treasure.
I would advise you to plan ahead: if you already have something in mind such as your dream coat that you couldn't afford earlier in the season now is the time. Consider what you actually need, try to stick with what you have in mind already and don't randomly decide to look without having something specific in mind (it can be difficult but it can be done otherwise you will end up buying things you don't need).
Think about what's coming next (S/S15): denim is strong this S/S 15 so time to ditch the skinny jeans and become accustomed to flares because the 70s are back baby. Midi skirts, dresses, sport luxe, prints (strips & floral) and crop tops are sticking around for next season and beyond. Try to buy pieces that will work with your current wardrobe and are true to your style.
A great coat and a dress, is always a wardrobe staple. Don't buy something just because it appears to be a bargain ask yourself, "Is this good quality? does it suit me? what will I wear it with and when? would I really wear this?". According to WRAP, a leading body on resource efficiency, consumers in Britain have an estimated £30-billion worth of unworn clothes hanging in their wardrobes.
A final word of advice, remember, a few half-hearted sale purchases can add up to one new season item- so weigh up which you want more.

we still have a few more months of cold weather ahead of us especially in the UK so no better time to grab yourself a classic but keep spring in mind.
THE BAGS
Wear it forever without any guilts, you might even pass it down to your kids.
THE SKIRT
Great now with a chunky knit and then with a white shirt when the weather gets warmer.
THE SHOES
Leave those trophy trainers on the sale rail and opt instead for a sexy pair of pumps or sturdy platform, you can't go wrong with that.
THE DRESSES
Because you can't have too many dresses. So go with whatever flows you're boat, whether that may be prints, the classic LBD or something colorful, there's something for everyone out there.
70s are back so think Flare trousers.
Ola a todos! Espero que o Natal tem corrido bem aonde quer que estejam, eu so como, bebo, arroto e durmo (em repetição) lol. E chegou a época do ano novamente- SALDOS !! Yah !!!! Para alguns de nós esta época do ano pode trazer uma mistura de emoções, ancianidade eh uma delas que chega a deixar-nos confusos às vezes. Eu não tenho certeza se vocês ainda se recordam, mas uma vez eu mencionei que, quando se trata de saldos eu preferiro fazer investimentos inteligentes, o que significa, em vez de eu primeiro visitar as lojas baratas de costume, eu prefiro visitar as lojas de marca, por quê? Porque os maiores descontos, muitas vezes aplicam-se em marcas de alto nível, o que significa que você pode se deparar a gastar o tanto quanto você gastaria normalmente em uma peca sem marca no preco normal, mas em vez voce comprara um item da marca que você ira amar por muito mais tempo.
Eu aconselho-vos a planear com antecedência: se você já tem algo em mente, como por exemplo o sobretudo dos seus sonhos que não estava acessível no principio da estacão agora e a hora. Considere o que você realmente precisa, tente seguir a ideia que você já tem em mente, não saia a escolher qualquer coisas que lhe passe pela frente sem ter algo específico em mente (pode ser difícil, mas pode ser feito caso contrário, você ira acabar por comprar coisas que nao precisa).
Pense sobre o que está por vir (P/V15): denim estará em grande nesta Primavera/verão, eh hora de abandonar as skinny jeans e se acostumem novamente com a boca de sino (a pantalona) porque os anos 70 estão de volta bebê. Saias midi, vestidos, esporte luxe, estampas (riscas e florais) e o crop top continuam a ser moda para a próxima estacão e além. Tente comprar peças que irão trabalhar com o seu guarda-roupa actual e que faça o seu estilo.
Um bom sobretudo e um bom vestido, é sempre necessário num guarda-roupa de uma mulher. Não compre algo só porque parece ser uma pechincha pergunte-se: "Isto é boa qualidade? Me ficara bem? Como irei usar-lo e quando? Sera que irei usar mesmo?". De acordo com o WRAP, os consumidores na Grã-Bretanha tem cerca de £30 bilhões em roupas sem uso pendurado em seus guarda-roupas.
Um conselho final, lembrem-se, as vezes um compra de um item no saldo podem ser equivalente a uma compra de um item da nova colecção mas escolha eh vossa.
